Not all water pickup is equal — a shop vac and a truck-mount extraction unit produce very different outcomes on the same flooded room.
Our Decatur, GA Water Extraction crews run truck-mount units capable of pulling far more volume than portable equipment.
Higher suction volume on every Water Extraction job in Decatur, GA means less residual moisture left behind.
We identify the contamination category before extraction to determine the correct safety protocol.
Saving original hardwood is possible with the right extraction method applied quickly.
You get documented proof of extraction progress, not just a technician's word.
Water Extraction is a methodology as much as a piece of equipment, and here's how our Decatur, GA crews approach it.
High-volume truck-mount units handle standing water across large areas fast.
Water is tested and classified as Category 1, 2, or 3 before extraction protocol is finalized.
We extract carpet and padding as distinct materials since they hold and release moisture differently.
Injection drying systems pull moisture from beneath hardwood planks without pulling up the floor.
Extraction continues below the surface layer whenever subfloor readings show trapped moisture.
You receive documented proof of extraction completion for your own records or an insurance claim.
We ask enough questions to send the right-sized extraction unit on the first trip.
Equipment is pre-loaded based on dispatch notes, so there's no delay on arrival.
You'll know the classification and cost before work starts.
Extraction continues until documented moisture readings confirm the job is complete.
"They saved our hardwood floor with an injection drying method instead of ripping it all out. Saved us thousands." — Owen R.
"The moisture readings they gave us before and after made the whole process feel legitimate, not just a guess." — Bianca V.
"Truck-mount extraction cleared our flooded basement way faster than the shop vac approach a different company tried first." — Malik J.
Our Water Extraction process tests, extracts, and verifies with logged readings, well beyond a simple pump-out.
We'll assess whether injection drying is viable before recommending tear-out.
Classification determines the safety protocol and disposal requirements for the job.
Yes, every job includes a written report with before-and-after moisture readings.
We prioritize speed specifically because extraction timing affects final outcomes.
We issue a written extraction report formatted for insurance use, not just internal notes.
